Register to attend an Ag Chem Dealer Update meeting!

Registration for the 2020 Ag Chem Dealer Update meetings near Boone on Dec. 8 and Iowa City on Dec. 15 is now open online. Each location will have both a morning and afternoon session to accommodate as many attendees as possible while meeting social distancing requirements. In addition to insect and disease pest management updates, the trainings will focus on sprayer cleanout to minimize tank contamination and phytotoxicity issues associated with tank contamination.

These meetings are approved for 3.0 pest management and 0.5 crop management Certified Crop Adviser continuing education units and meet the requirements for the calendar year 2020 Commercial Pesticide Applicator recertification in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10.

Registration is $70 and can be completed online. The deadline to register for the Boone event is Dec. 6 at midnight, and the deadline for the Iowa City event is Dec. 13 at midnight. Pre-registration is required for these meetings as space is limited.

In addition to the shorter meeting and attendance limits, meeting seating will be spaced for social distancing, all seating and commonly-touched surfaces will be sanitized prior to each session, prepackaged drinks and snacks will be provided to attendees at their seats, and face coverings will be required for all ISU staff, presenters, and event attendees. Disposable face coverings and hand sanitizer will be available for attendees at the door.
