Planning on attending the Commodity Classic in San Antonio in March?   Have experience with herbicide resistant weeds?

If you are involved in crop production in Iowa, the answer to the second question is yes.  The Weed Science Society of America is sponsoring a listening session at the Classic with the intent of helping weed scientists develop a better understanding of the challenges and barriers to adoption of practices that minimize the impact of herbicide resistance.  Professional facilitators will ensure that stakeholders (farmers, chemical and seed retailers, crop consultants, etc.) have the opportunity to have their experiences and concerns heard.

The session will be held in the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center Room 007 C&D on March 4th beginning with lunch at noon and ending around 5 pm.
