Clinic update

As the time for crop germination approaches, the staff of the Plant and Diagnostic Clinic (PIDC) want to reiterate that while the clinic is running at a reduced capacity, physical samples will still be accepted this season. Staff still request that interactions with the clinic occur primarily through emails that include pictures and other information, before submitting a sample.

We have made this decision due to federal, state and university guidelines to protect the health of our staff and students, and because clinic staff will not be able to normally access campus or their workplace.

When possible we will continue to provide free distance diagnostics (via pictures and email correspondence). Please contact us at pidc@iastate.edu with all of your sample inquiries.
