Manufacturers of the dicamba products labeled for over-the-top use in soybean (FeXapan, Xtendimax, Tavium, Engenia) are again offering live and online training sessions for pesticide applicators planning to use those products during the 2020 growing season. Live sessions are offered during January and February this year, and online training is available as well. Check the Agribusiness Association of Iowa website for training programs and registration information. Applicators may attend any approved Iowa dicamba training provided by any manufacturer to meet the training label requirement.

As a reminder, any person responsible mixing, loading, applying, or cleaning dicamba application equipment must be a certified and licensed private pesticide applicator or commercial pesticide applicator in the state of Iowa and must attend a dicamba training prior to handling the product each growing season. Iowa certified handlers and other employees cannot handle these products.
