In case you want to try something a little different, you may be interested in listening to a podcast about field crop pest management. If you are new to podcasting, it is basically an audio file. Some people listen to podcasts on their computer/smart device, in their vehicles while traveling, or on a mp3 player (e.g., i-pod).

Matt O'Neal and I are in our 6th season of podcasting about soybean pests in Iowa. Can't believe we've done over 50 episodes since 2009! We try to do a weekly episode in the summer to keep listeners updated on what is happening in field crops. Giving a heads up on pest activity and management guidelines is our focus. We also touch on research updates, upcoming events and then some just random stuff.

You can listen to our podcast in at least two ways. First, you could subscribe to our podcast via iTunes. Just search for "soybean aphid" and our series should pop up. You can set up your device to automatically receive new episodes when published. Or second, you could visit our website and listen directly from there.
