CCA Credits
Certified Crop Advisors can earn CCA credits with each episode of CropsTV. The number of credits per episode ranges from 0.5 credit to 1.0 credit, depending upon the length of the episode.
How to earn CCA Credits:
During each episode of CropsTV a 4-digit code will be displayed on the screen. It will not appear for the duration of the episode. You must watch the video to retrieve the code. After you watch the complete episode and have the code, click the "Take the quiz" button on the episode page and enter the 4-digit passcode to begin the quiz. Once the quiz is completed, it will be recorded in the CropsTV gradebook within Canvas that you earned the credit for that particular episode. You can check the gradebook in Canvas at anytime during the duration of CropsTV to see which episodes you have completed/will receive credit for.
Once CropsTV wraps-up in April, the completed episodes for each students will be submitted to the CCA office for credits to be applied to member records. Unfortunately there is not a way to automate this process between Canvas and the CCA office. CropsTV subscribers will receive an email when credits have been submitted and when they should appear on their CCA membership records.
How many CCA credits are available for Season 6?
The exact number of CCA credits/category of CCA credits (soil and water, nutrient management, crop management, pest management, etc.) for Season 6 will be shared once the program is finalized in December 2025. The target is between 20-25 CCA credits.
