
Hay Day at McNay Field Day
ISU Extension and Outreach will host a haying equipment demonstration on (originally scheduled for July 8th, 2025) July 16th, 2025 at the McNay Research and Demonstration Farm.
Hay Day at McNay is an event designed to allow producers to see live, in person demonstrations of different pieces of haying equipment from local equipment dealers. The provided lunch session will feature Wes Everman, extension weed specialist, leading a discussion around weed management in forages. Other ISU Extension and Outreach field agronomists and beef specialists will be on hand for the duration of the program to meet with attendees and address production questions. The end of the event will feature a trade show, where attendees can interact with industry representatives and get a closer look at some of their equipment.

Due to inclement weather on the 8th, we will now be using the rain date of July 16th for the Hay Day at McNay.

The event is no cost to attend, and lunch will be provided by the Lucas County Cattlemen.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged.
