Terminating Cover Crops and Planning for Unexpected Weather- Webinar

Join the Midwest Cover Crops Council for a webinar on “Terminating cover crops and planning for unexpected weather” on Wednesday March 19 at 9:30E/8:30C. Dr. Bill Johnson, Purdue Professor of Weed Science, will discuss the basics of cover crop termination with an emphasis on cereal rye for the Midwest. We will also review alternative termination plans when spring weather doesn’t cooperate, and termination is delayed. Barry Fisher will provide guidance on planting equipment for these “unplanned planting green” situations.

Certified crop advisors who participate in the live webinar will be eligible for 1 Integrated Pest Management credit.
