Join ISU extension beef specialist Chris Clark, extension forage specialist Shelby Gruss, extension agronomist Meaghan Anderson, and other beef specialists at this pasture walk to discuss fall weed control, managing grazing height and rest periods this fall, and visit a new "Grazing Trailer" equipped with various pasture management equipment and educational materials. 

This event will take place at 22456 90th Ave, New Virginia, near Medora. Check-in starts at 5 p.m. with a light meal grilled by the Warren County Cattlemen. There is no charge for attendees thanks to sponsorship from ISU Extension and Outreach, Warren County Farm Bureau and the Iowa Forage and Grassland Council.

Registrations are appreciated by Aug. 25 to help with the meal count. To register, call the Warren County Extension Office at 515-961-6237. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and dress for weather and walking. No bathroom facilities are on-site, and attendees should plan accordingly.
