Weed Management Roundtable - Southeast Iowa
Calling all producers and ag retailers across southeastern Iowa!
Dr. Wesley Everman, ISU Extension and Outreach's new Weed Management Specialist, is looking to gather input on the weed management challenges farmers and ag retailers in Iowa are facing. Additionally, he wants to discuss the ESA (Endangered Species Act) Herbicide Strategy and herbicide resistance. You are invited to bring your thoughts, comments, or concerns.
The event will be held at the Southeast Research and Demonstration Farm near Crawfordsville on Friday, March 28th, 2025.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Farmer Session
- 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Ag Retailer/Industry Session
We are asking folks to RSVP so we can plan accordingly by the end of the day on March 26th, but walk ins will be accepted. If you are from other areas in the state, the plan is to hold more of these around these around the state later this year.
There is no cost to participate in the Weed Management Roundtable for participants as we greatly appreciate the input provided. We also want to thank the ISU Crops Team and the Southeast Research and Demonstration Farm for the support provided to make this roundtable event possible.
