Worth and Cerro Gordo County Corn and Soybean Clinic
The Worth and Cerro Gordo County Corn and Soybean Crop Clinic will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Bethel United Methodist Church, Manly, Iowa. The program will start at 9:30 a.m. with Extension Field Agronomist, Angie Rieck-Hinz kicking off with private pesticide applicator continuing education. Dr. Jason Henderson, VP for ISU Extension and Outreach will speak at 10:30 and provide an update on Extension activities. Dr. Wes Everman, extension weed scientist will finish out the morning at 11:30 by discussing weed management and herbicide use to finalize the pesticide training. A complimentary lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. The event is free and open to all, but we do ask that you register by calling the Worth County Extension office at 641-324-1531 or the Cerro Gordo County Extension Office at 641-423-0844. Those seeking private pesticide applicator continuing education will be required to pay the $30 fee on site with cash or a check.
