Bins of Tomorrow - Grain Conditioning School 2026
Interested in getting paid more for the same corn and soybeans you are selling to a cooperative, elevator, feed mill, or an ethanol plant? As part of the Bins of Tomorrow (BiTs) program series designed to help producers with grain management and storage, the team is offering a one-day hands-on Grain Conditioning School on March 11, 2026, in Ames, IA. This hands-on school will teach the use of sensors, data collection, and monitoring, using apps for decision-making, and how to improve grain quality during storage, especially soybeans.
The school will be taught by Dr. Dirk Maier, Professor and Director of ISU Kent Feed Mill and Grain Science Complex and Dr. Kapil Arora, Dr. Kris Kohl, Tony Mensing, Younus Sabbir, and Dr. George Obeng-Akrofi.
