Rebecca Vittetoe is an extension field agronomist in east-central/southeast Iowa serving Iowa, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Poweshiek, and Washington counties. Vitteoe works with farmers, landowners, and ag retailers to answer agronmy-related questions. Her areas of expertise include general agronomy, crop diseases, corn, soybean, and forage management, cover crops, integrated pest management, and crop scouting. She also helps to support the ISU Crops Team with communications and marketing.
Vittetoe received her B.S. in agronomy along with a journalism and mass communications minor from Iowa State University in 2014. She earn her M.S. in agronomy from Iowa State University in 2019. Vittetoe joined Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in April of 2015. Prior to working for Extension, Vittetoe worked for Pioneer with their Agronomy Sciences group and at the Durant Corn Production Plant.
