Harvest is a busy time of year, and with the extra flurry of activity, there is more equipment and slow-moving vehicles on the farm and the roa
d, which can increase the chances of farm- and equipment-related accidents.
This week (Sept. 22–27) is National Farm Safety and Health Week. While we emphasize safety during this week, we encourage all farmers, their families, employees and others who share the road with agricultural equipment to be safe year-round. Agricultural injuries can have a significant impact, both economically and in terms of quality of life.
