The NRCS Soil Health Principles emerged as one of the most popular soil conservation campaigns. However, the exact origins of the principles remain elusive. More importantly the scientific rigor of them and ability to improve soil health are largely untested. Marshall will talk about the Soil Health Principles more generally; and then he'll explain results from a large study using several long-term ISU experiments to put the Soil Health Principles to the test.
