Corn stunt disease has recently been observed in the Lower Midwest, including Iowa in 2024. The pathogens that cause the disease are transmitted by the corn leafhopper. This episode will briefly describe the biology of the corn leafhopper-corn stunt tag team, and present prevalence data from 2024 and 2025.
