"Basics of Haymaking" – Session 1

Learn the key agronomic practices for successful hay production in Iowa in this free, three-part virtual event. Each session runs from 12:00 – 1:30 PM and covers essential topics.

The first session will be on March 17, covering forage selection, fertility, and establishment. The other two sessions will be on March 24: Harvest, storage, and economics of hay and March 31: Pest management – insects, weeds, and diseases

This program is offered at no cost to attendees due to the generous support of the ISU Crops Team, Iowa Beef Center, ISU Dairy Team, and ISU Farm Management Team.
