Dr. Fernando Marcos is a research scientist who manages the Licht Lab and co-leads the Remote Sensing and Imaging Lab at Iowa State University. His work focuses on cropping systems research, particularly corn, soybean, and cover crop systems, with an emphasis on the intersection of agronomy and precision agriculture. Through RSIL, he supports the adoption and automation of remote sensing across diverse research programs while overseeing remote sensing operations and software development.
